
In our country what’s worth it shows!
Maybe it’s the ample sunlight that brings everything to light. Maybe it’s in us to be able to tell what’s good. To tell a good fruit or a good vegetable when we see it shine. We can tell fresh fish from the perkiness in the eyes. Or good meat from how firm it feels. In the end, it’s that simple: what’s good shows.
And that is precisely what we at LIDL Cyprus want to show everyone. The quality of the products we bring to your table every day.
These are the elements LIDL’s new campaign promotes. The clip of the new campaign shows the fertile fields, the small and large farms, the rich seas, as well as the labs, ovens, and creameries. In this abundance of imagery, Lidl is there, caring for, checking, and transporting the best products, so that it can proudly say that what it offers “IS WORTH IT AND IT SHOWS”.
The campaign unfolds with themed clips on each of the basic food categories at LIDL: fruit and vegetables, dairy, meat and poultry, fish and seafood, and pastries. In each of these clips, a quirky dialogue is started between the consumer and the producer, who knows that a good product is worth it and it shows, and has the evidence to prove it.
For all this to happen, months of work with creative insight and persistence by many contributors were needed: the people of Lidl’s marketing with the associates from The Newtons Laboratory ad firm, who came up with the idea, the people of Stefi Lynx Productions who made sure everything was done flawlessly, director Yiorgos Zafiris, director of photography Thomas Varvias with his crew, and composer Nicos Portokaloglou for the lovely original music.
Shooting was done at various locations in Northern Greece, and took a total 10 days!
And naturally, we continue to offer the cheapest quality products in Cyprus’ retail food market, as we have always done and will continue to do, remaining the leader of setting the lowest prices in the market.
