Results of the 2nd Petrolina Charity Festival
Petrolina donated €15,000 to Europa Donna Cyprus in support of their fight against breast cancer, in a modest ceremony that took place on Friday, the 4th of November, 2016, at the Petrolina head offices in Larnaca.
This donation includes a €10,000 contribution from Petrolina and €5,000 raised at the 2nd Petrolina Charity Festival from the sale of food and drink. The festival, which was attended by thousands of people, took place in September with the message “Let’s fill Cyprus with love”.
Mrs Georgia Lefkariti, Director of Petrolina (Holdings) Public Ltd, presented the results of the festival and praised the values of volunteerism and teamwork, which are the foundations of Petrolina as a company. She also thanked all the supporters of the festival, primarily the volunteers of the Petrolina Community for their noble participation.
Ms Stella Mastora, the vice president of Europa Donna Cyprus, thanked Petrolina for their donation and for their unwavering support. Petrolina has been undertaking the rent of the organisation’s Home in Larnaca since the very beginning, in 2009.
Mr Dinos Lefkaritis, Executive Director of Finance of Petrolina (Holdings) Public Ltd, and Mr Yiannis Yiannakis, the commissioner of Volunteering and NGO’s, addressed the event.
The ceremony was concluded with the award of honorary diplomas to the volunteers of the Petrolina Community.
