The Junior & Senior School

The Board of Governors of The Junior & Senior School is delighted to announce that they have signed an agreement with the Bank of Cyprus to take over their Athletic and Training Centre in Latsia from January 2016 as the new site for the Senior School. This site is ideal for our needs with extensive sports facilities including two swimming pools indoor and outdoor, tennis and basketball courts and plenty of space to extend with additional facilities, performance space and classroom blocks. The training wing is an ideal place to house our main teaching rooms, including science laboratories, music rooms, drama and dance studios and will need minimal renovation to be ready in early 2016 for our move. The site also comprises full catering facilities and extensive social areas with shade. We are certain that these new facilities will further enhance our educational provision so that we will be able to offer state of the art education from the age of 2 to the age of 19 for all our students.

On that note the Board is also able to announce that it has managed to bring forward the completion date for the renovations to the Junior School (Phase B) and the new block comprising age appropriate classrooms and music rooms will be ready for use in September 2015.

We believe that both of these developments will ensure that The Junior and Senior School will become the school of choice for all ages of children for both Cypriot parents and for those parents from the international community who spend time living in Nicosia. We believe that these high quality facilities will allow the school to continue to go from strength to strength.
