Members of ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets’ management team visited Tesco’s London Headquarters. ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets’ collaboration with Tesco, one of the three largest supermarket chains in the world, started in 2013, when they took over the exclusive distribution of the chain’s products in the Cyprus market.
ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets was represented at the meeting by founder and chairman Andreas Papaellinas, Marketing Director George Theodotou, Commercial Director Niki Efthimiou, and Tesco’s Brand Manager Aphroditi Leonidou, while Tesco was represented by Head of Export, Wholesale, Richard Stratton, Business Development Manager, Wholesale, Melanie Talbot, and Head of International Brand and Marketing John Constantinou.
At the meeting an overview of the collaboration thus far was conducted, and views were exchanged with regard to expertise, marketing, and strategy, while the prospects of strengthening the collaboration were also discussed.
