SENCON 2025, the second student-organised conference of The Senior School, took place on March 1, 2025, at the Senior School Campus in Latsia, Nicosia.

The theme of this one-day conference was “Restoring Faith in Humanity”, a timeless reminder that remains relevant for today’s young people. Its aim was to spark discussions on significant contemporary issues, encouraging critical thinking, resilience, and solution-seeking among Cypriot youth.

In total, 183 students from over 30 schools across Cyprus participated in the conference. SENCON 2025 featured interactive committee sessions and dynamic presentations, fostering collaboration and dialogue on important topics.

Keynote speakers at SENCON 2025 were Alexandra Attalidou and Andreas Filaktou. A Member of Parliament since 2021 and Co-Chair of Volt Cyprus, Attalidou shared her views on leadership and social change. Filaktou, known for his work in podcast production, offered his insights on promoting political transparency and youth engagement.

The conference was organised under the guidance of the SENCON 2025 Secretariat, led by students: Emily Kyriakides, Stephanos Artemis, Fatima Sanjakdar, Anthi Andronicou, and Stela Lito Erotokritou, with Nicholas Shiaxiate (History Teacher, KS3/4 MUN Coordinator) serving as conference supervisor.
