With Nicosia Municipality adopting e-invoicing as part of its digital transformation, it invites its partners and suppliers to submit their invoices via the Bank of Cyprus’ Jinius platform, supporting the digital and smart city programme.

Elena Meli, General Manager of the Jinius platform, welcomed the Municipality of Nicosia to Jinius. “Jinius creates a network of meaningful digital connections via an innovative platform that enhances and accelerates the digitisation of the economy,” she said. “The platform offers innovative services that simplify and accelerate their daily transactions and activities.”

For his part, Nicosia Mayor Charalambos Prountzos, hailed the service optimisation promised by Jinius e-invoicing. “This step is not only a technological upgrade, but also a move that will enhance the efficiency, transparency and speed of our Municipality’s procedures,” he noted. “Through the Jinius platform, we will achieve faster payments to suppliers, reduce costs and environmental footprint, and, at the same time, ensure proper recording and monitoring of all transactions.”
From May 1, 2025 onwards, Nicosia Municipality will carry out digital processing of all invoices received exclusively through Jinius.
