Cancer is certainly a difficult diagnosis, and, at the same time, it can be accompanied by many additional expenses, beyond those related purely to the treatment. Specialised insurance in cancer diagnoses is an additional coverage to an insurance policy and offers financial support in difficult times, so that the patient can focus on their treatment and recovery, without the stress of financial obligations.
In the above context, Eurolife has designed, for women and men separately, the riders Cover Her and Cover Him respectively, which offer targeted coverage for cancers mainly related to the insured’s gender.
The two riders, Cover Her and Cover Him, offer significant financial assistance in the form of a lump sum payment upon diagnosis of one of the pre-defined malignant cancers, allowing everyone to utilise this amount as they wish, depending on their needs. For example:
- To supplement income due to inability to work,
- Payment of assistance for daily needs at home,
- Use of the money for alternative treatments,
- To cover travel and accommodation expenses if the patient needs to go abroad for specialised treatment,
- You can also boost your mental health and quality of life by investing in activities such as leisure travel or hobbies.
The Cover Her and Cover Him riders can be added to either new or existing Eurolife life policies, for policyholders aged 18 to 60, and can be kept until the age of 70. You have the option of choosing the insured amount of the benefit between €40,000 and €100,000. Details of the types of cancer covered are included in the Terms of the benefit.
