On May 11, 2025, a lavish dinner in honour of famed French wine producer Marcel Guigal was held at La Petite Maison (LPM), a restaurant at Limassol’s Parklane, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa. The dinner saw LPM executive Head Chef Panos Petrou expertly pair the evening’s dishes with Guigal wines.

Guigal has been globally recognised by the most esteemed critics as the best winemaker in the world. His wines have earned the highest possible score, 100/100, 33 times, by Robert Parker — an unparalleled achievement, till now unmatched by any other winemaker.

Financial Times columnist Jancis Robinson referred to Guigal in her BBC Wine Course series as “simply the Best Winemaker on the Planet”, while Decanter Magazine honoured him as Man of the Year 2006. Wine Spectator rated Guigal’s Châteauneuf du Pape as the best wine in the world in 2002, praising his “ability to deliver both quality and value at all price points”.
