
KPMG in Cyprus organized during its annual Gala Dinner an award ceremony to congratulate and honor its trainee accountants, who achieved exceptional results in the 2016 and 2017 ACA and ACCA exams at local and International level.
During the ceremony, awards were given to Anna Georgiou for achieving the 1st place nationally at P1 and P3 papers in the September 2016 and 2017 exam sittings respectively, to Zoe Alexandrou for the 1st place nationally at P6 paper and for completing all ACCA exams in the December 2016 exam sitting, to Elena Christodoulou for the 3rd place nationally for completing all ACCA exams in the June 2017 exam sitting, to Andreas Ellinas for the 1st place nationally at F6 paper in the December 2016 exam sitting, to Stanislav Brytskyi for the 1st place nationally at F8 paper in the September 2017 exam sitting and to Ekaterina Makarova for the 1st place nationally at the P5 paper in the September 2017 exam sitting.
In addition, awards were given to the trainee accountants who managed to complete all ACA exams successfully over the course of 3 years. Specifically, awards were given to Alexia Michael, Stella Christoforou and Kalliopi Panayiotou, who have managed to achieve the highest average mark in all ACA exams, in the Advanced level exams and in the Professional Level exams respectively.
Last but not least, an award was given to Chara Skordi for her outstanding achievement in obtaining two international ACA awards. Chara won the 1st place (joint) and the Watts Prize in the Audit and Assurance paper in the December 2016 exam sitting, as well as the 1st place and the Spicer and Pegler Prize in the Financial Accounting and Reporting paper in the September 2017 exam sitting.
