“The Magic of Christmas” Comes Alive for the Second Year Running!

For the second year running, the show “The Magic of Christmas” will take place in the streets of Nicosia, on Saturday, 19^th December 2015. “The Magic of Christmas” is a street show / performance, inspired by well-known Artistic Director & Choreographer Ricardo Cuellar and organized by RCBeautydolls, under the concept of a Christmas parade with the purpose of bringing the spirit of Christmas to the local community of Nicosia. Around 20 performers in impressive Christmas costumes, will parade through the main streets of Nicosia in open cars, to finish at the City Plaza as part of the PopUp Festival.

The parade will start from PILATES Bodyharmony on 28th October St. in Makedonitissa at 1.30pm, drive through Griva Digheni Avenue and then continue through Nikis Avenue to arrive at Makarios Hospital where Ricardo Cuellar, together with Santa Claus, the Queen of Candyland, reindeers and Christmas fairies will perform for hospitalized children. Following that, the parade will drive through Nikis Avenue, Griva Digheni Avenue and Kritis Street to arrive at the Christmas Avenue in Makariou at 3.00 in the afternoon and finish at the CITY PLAZA at 4.30, where the ensemble will offer an enchanting, interactive Christmas dance show which engages children, parents and families, who will have the opportunity to take pictures and have a wonderful time with the dancers.

The Magic of Christmas includes:

• The team of “Candyland”, dressed up in candy costumes.
• Santa and the Joy of Christmas, where our beloved Santa will be accompanied by his helpers and reindeers.
• The Christmas Fairies who will sprinkle a touch of Christmas “magic” with their magic sticks.

As the parade leader and inspirer, Ricardo Cuellar, said, “The Magic of Christmas has one and only purpose: to present an impressive show and offer a few moments of joy and celebration to the community where I live and work for the past 9 years”.

The “Magic of Christmas” is a non-profit event, where all participants work voluntarily for the past two months, supported by a number of private organisations.
