This year marks 20 years of K Cineplex cinemas. As pioneers of the cinema industry in Cyprus, K Cineplex was launched in June 1999, the first of its kind on the Island of Cyprus. In the 20 years since, K Cineplex has inspired its audiences and led the way forward in a national expansion, with a number of cinema locations across the Island. Within this time an array of celebrities were hosted, innovations transpired and critically acclaimed blockbusters were screened.

We are now celebrating a two decade journey, with movies and family entertaining experiences with one of the most significant milestones set in the Cyprus Cinema Entertainment Industry, with state of the art auditoriums, “home away from home” comfort seating, 4K projector technology in creating brighter colors and richer contrasts, installed in Screen 1 of K Cineplex Prime and a Dolby Atmos sound system that unleashes the feeling. K Cineplex Prime has been projecting titles in 4K, however in 2019 additional 4K projectors will be installed and continue leading the movie experience in state of art digital picture.

A new European title will be released at K Cineplex nationwide on a weekly basis together with local films that are released each year. ABOUT K CINEPLEX

The K Cineplex experience was first launched in Limassol on the 14th of June 1999, the first of its kind on the Island of Cyprus, a milestone followed by the launch of K Cineplex Larnaca in August 2001, K Cineplex Nicosia in April 2002, followed by the opening of K Cineplex Nicosia Mall of Cyprus in September 2007 and K Cineplex Kings Avenue Mall in November 2013.
