Supporting students in healthcare and rewarding their effort and excellence is one of the most important activities of the MSJ Group and a key activity in its corporate social responsibility actions in education for several years.
For over 11 years, the MSJ Group rewards the student with the top marks in KES College’s two-year Pharmaceutical Reps programme, in memory of group founder Michalakis Jacovides.
This year’s winner was Mrs Chrystalla Pitta, who received the monetary prize from Mr Andreas Georgiades, who represented the Jacovides Group in this year’s ceremony.
At the same time, the MSJ Group rewarded the top-graded student of the University of Nicosia’s Pharmacy programme, Anastasios Thodis, at a ceremony held at the University’s grounds. The monetary prize was given by MSJ Group’s managing consultant Mr Sotos Jacovides to the School of Science and Engineering dean at the University of Nicosia Dr Yiorgos Georgiou, due to the student’s absence abroad.
Education and knowledge are an important and key pillar in the MSJ Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility policy, which has supported educational institutions and students in the healthcare field for years.
