Cablenet is proud to announce that as of the 2nd November 2015 is officially a Certified Gender Equality Employer.
The Ministry of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance and the Cyprus Gender Equality Certification Body held an awarding ceremony for businesses on Monday 2nd of November at Hilton Park. Minister of Labour, Welfare and Social Insurance Mrs. Zeta Emilianidou awarded Cablenet Communication Systems LTD with the equality certification, issued by the Certification Body for the Implementation of Best Practices for Gender Equality.
This certification falls within the context of the implementation of a co-funded project by the European Social Fund and the Cyprus Republic entitled “Actions to reduce the wage gap between men and women”.
Cablenet proved that it applies all the right practices which ensure gender equality within its staff in all fields. Specifically, Cablenet provides equal opportunities in recruiting, developing, training, evaluating and payment between men and women in its workplace. In addition, all Cablenet’s staff has attended Equality seminars conducted by KESEA and received all appropriate certifications.
Once again, Cablenet has proven to be a pioneer in the telecommunication business sector with its moral values and principles which it follows over time.
