But not all tech companies are new to the island. Amdocs, a large multinational company in the telecoms industry and the largest tech company in Cyprus, has actually maintained a development centre in Limassol since 1997.

Who or what is Amdocs and what do you do?

What can you tell us about Amdocs Cyprus?
Our Cyprus Development Centre (DVCC), was established in Limassol in 1997 – so we’ve been in Cyprus for 21 years! We currently employ 600+ people. With 21 different nationalities, we are also a very international site and our employees support clients around the world.
In Amdocs Cyprus the atmosphere is warm, friendly and relaxed, offering many social activities beyond work, making you feel that you have joined a great big family. For example, next week is our Move for Health Week and we mark it with a number of activities that are designed to get us away from our desks and moving around – yoga, Zumba, paintball, judo and fencing are just some of them!
We heard that you’re currently expanding your Cyprus office. Is that true?
Yes! We are actively recruiting for a wide range of roles. As part of our growth plan, we are looking for talented IT professionals who want a unique experience working in a family-like atmosphere, while being part of a global company. Right now, we’re in the middle of our graduate recruitment and we’re focusing on hiring a number of recent IT graduates to join us by the end of the month.
